Men’s Fellowship Breakfast

On Saturday, January 21st, at 8:30 a.m., our UM Men will be hosting a Men’s Fellowship breakfast in the fellowship hall. Tom Devore, the President of the UM Men for the Harrisonburg District, will be our guest. We will need a head-count by January 11. Please contact Jeff Delano (540-459-4197) or Hal Morrison (540-459-5571) if you will be attending. Mark your calendars and come out to have some good fellowship with other men of the church and our community.
5th Sunday
January 29th is the first 5th Sunday of the New Year. Toms Brook UMC is planning to continue the recent tradition of an evening service (in addition to the morning services) combined with a covered dish dinner to give the 8:30 and 11:00 congregations (and anyone else) an opportunity to come together. The service will provide a time for healing prayers and anointing. A special guest, Simon Peter, will offer the story of Jesus’ healing of a leper (Mark 1:38-45). The covered dish dinner will be at 6 p.m. and the service at 7 p.m. Hope to see you here!

Kids J.A.M.
(Jesus And Me)

Sunday, January 29

There is a special edition of Kids J.A.M. on the Fifth Sunday Night service to be held on January 29. All children, grades K-4, are invited to an "Evening of Stories." Bring a blanket and pillow, gather around the "wood stove" and hear tales of wonder and glee—sprinkled with wisdom and giggles. We will share a meal, spend some time with our families, and then gather for the storytelling.
